In one sense, “sexual harassment” as a concept has been a success. Companies and corporations have put in place rules prohibiting it. Training programs against sexual harassment are now standard; employees across the country can testify to enduring dry videos and handouts urging them not to ask their co-workers about their sex lives.
The sexual harassment around the world is something that we actually think is completely normal, but it’s not. How can you tell me if someone is abused in whatever way that’s gonna be cool?.
Sexual harassment can be showed in male and female, but usually when when we see someone who was abused it’s mostly in girls. “An estimated 91% of victims of rape & sexual assault are female and 9% male. Nearly 99% of perpetrators are male. 1 This US Dept. of Justice statistic does not report those who do not identify in these gender boxes”.
As a girl I can say most of the time when I see cases of sexual harassment the victims are girls almost all the time it doesnt matter how old they’re, if tehy’re just a 5 years old kid old or an 55 years adult.
Like everything in the world there’s always an excuse to do the things or don’t do the things as well… Most of people (ignorant people) says “it happens to her because of the way she was wearing” , “because she was talking too much”, “because she was wearing shorts” that’s the kind of stuff that people usually says when someone is raped and this what usually the rapper says.
